Mysteryland will be returning for the third time in 2016, and with festivals becoming more popular, there are many evolving changes occurring.
For the last two years, Mysteryland was held during Memorial Day weekend, which is a very popular weekend for festivity goers. Between EDC New York, Counterpoint, Lightning In A Bottle, and many other events, there is plenty of competition against Mysteryland.
Having a lot of competition, Mysteryland has decided to change their dates to: June 10-13. However, that too seems to be a hot weekend for festivals. With Bonnaroo and EDC Las Vegas happening around the same time, it could cause some competition, but that is something that we will just have to find out and see.
Besides the changing of their dates, Mysteryland has decided to lower their age limit. With the age limit previously at 21+, the change can definitely help increase their audience. The festival is now 19+ for day visitors, but still remains 21+ with the Holy Ground campgrounds.
