The makers of Coachella may be making its way into Queens, NY.
The city has been quietly talking with one of the nation’s biggest concert promoters about putting on a music festival at Flushing Meadows Corona Park next June
AEG live is rumored to have their eyes on The Unisphere to be the place of their next event. The festival is tentatively called \”Panorama\” and it may be the biggest festival in Queens since 1964. The possible date for Panorama is 2 weeks after Governors Ball, which may have an effect to how many people attend Governor\’s Ball.

The timing of this corporate-run festival would threaten our ability as a small business to continue putting on the kind of event that has showcased the best artists, created hundreds of local jobs and put millions of dollars back into the city’s economy
Coachella sold 200,000 tickets this year in Coachella alone. This may be the next big thing to hit the east coast!
