Dog Blood has always held a special spot in my musical heart. They were my first ever EDM show at Lollapalooza in 2013. But on that day at Lollapalooza they informed us all that that would be their last US date ever. Well 2 years later they are back in the spotlight and we couldn\’t be happier. This duo team consisting of Boys Noize and Skrillex have been hiding in the shadows ever since their release of the two Middle Finger EP\’s. At HARD Red Rock\’s though they unleashed a brand new bannger.
Over the past year Skrillex\’s focus has been more on Jack Ü and not really with anything else. But this is expected when starting a supergroup especially with Diplo. Jack Ü is great and all but we need some more of that Dog Blood sound. With Boys Noize\’s underground sound and Skrillex\’s deep electronic sound colliding for a powerful sound in it\’s own hopefully with the drop of the new music we can expect to see Dog Blood dominating more lineups over the next year.
