I know we there are certain artists that happen to release music more frequently than others. This does not mean that the few songs they produce are not worth a listen. One artist in particular is Dutch DJ Jay Hardway. it is known he made a collaboration with DVBBS called \’Voodoo\’ which is still played at venues all over. However, it has been over a year since Jay has graced us with one of his own originals (The one I am talking about is \’Bootcamp\’). Well the wait is quickly coming to an end. Spinnin\’ Records has announced that Jay\’s newest track \’Wake Up\’ will be available today!
Combining an uplifting synth sound, a short lyric, and a catchy melody results to the existence of this track. This track\’s groove makes it almost impossible to now want to jump around in pure joy. I genuinely appreciate that he does not mass produce music in a short amount of time. Although I do not make music, I do understand that making a great song takes time. Artists probably do feel the pressure at times when their fans want new music all the time. At times, it may reach the point where the artist goes for quantity of music made rather than the quality of each track released and I am happy Jay does not take this approach. Jay Hardway clearly has outdone himself again, and I cannot wait to see what else in store.
