Toronto\’s hometown hero Deadmau5 is slated to make his third headlining appearance in the surging VELD Music Festival. Much of the festival\’s popularity has been established through Deadmau5\’s frequent appearances at the fest, although he did not play it in 2014.
VELD\’s lineup received a lot of criticism for being lackluster this past year. Perhaps the reveal of Deadmau5 is a sign of festival planners INK Entertainment & Live Nation going back to the winning formula that fed so much into their initial success. This will be VELD\’s fourth showing overall, and this year marks Deadmau5\’s third headlining role in the festival.
