The International Dance Music Awards have been running for an impressive 30 years in Miami, in part with the Winter Music Conference. The awards are geared towards the best DJ’s, services, and subscriptions the EDM world has to offer, and some of the categories are unique, ranging from Best Global DJ to Best Hardstyle DJ. The nominees for best Global DJ are no real surprise with Armin, Calvin Harris, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Skrillex, and Tiesto, it seems any of these artists are deserving of taking home the award. It’s even nice to see a range of ages, from the dinosaur, yet ever so relevant Tiesto, to the barely legal to party at his shows in America Martin Garrix, the talent is present despite the age differences.

Best North American DJ: Claude VonStroke, Danny Tenaglia, Deorro, Dillion Francis, Diplo, Kaskade, Porter Robinson, and Steve Aoki.
Best European DJ: Afrojack, Alesso, Avicii, Axwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nicky Romero, R3hab, and Zedd.
Best EDM/Pop DJ: Afrojack, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Dash Berlin, David Guetta, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, and Zedd.
