We\’re back with a very special edition of Friday Freebies.

We hope Santa brought you everything you asked for this holiday season; today is also the day to return the gifts you may not have desired. It also happens to be the last Friday of the year! What a year it\’s been for dance music; we\’ve seen known producers release their first studio albums as well as the unknown emerge from the stomping grounds.

This week\’s theme focuses on our hometown\’s upcoming two-night New Years Eve run featuring the ever so talented Toronto-based duo Zeds Dead. Zeds Dead x Memorecks – Love Me

Frequent collaborator (and also Toronto-based) Memorecks jumps on this track with Zeds Dead to produce Love Me. Although it\’s a tad mellower than expected, the grimy bassline will not let you forget that this is a genuine Zeds Dead anthem.

Seven Lions – Fevers (feat. Minnesota & Mimi Page)

Jeff Montalvo, best known as Seven Lions, is taking the stage before Zeds Dead on December 30th. Though his music is among my favorite, his live sets are also incredible and you definitely do not want to miss him. Fevers, his collaboration with Minnesota and Mimi Page, takes you on an exquisite, euphoric journey that only Jeff could express.

Jackal – Shakedown (LOUDPVCK Remix)

Remixing Jackal, one of my favorite up and coming producers, may be a tough task, but LOUDPVCK gets the job done on this Shakedown rework. You can definitely hear some Moombah-influenced drum work in this banging track. LOUDPVCK will be taking the stage on the first night, December 30th.

JAUZ x Ghastly – Miami Connection

One of the biggest rising stars this year will be joining Zeds Dead on New Years Eve; at only 19 years old, JAUZ has captured the attention of industry giants with his genre-blending talents. Focusing on a deep sound mixed with House roots, he collaborates with Ghastly to bring us Miami Connection. We can\’t wait to get down to the dark sounds of JAUZ.

RL Grime – Core (Djemba\’s Selassie Bootleg)

One of 2015\’s most promising producers has to be Djemba Djemba. Valhalla, his collaboration with RL Grime, made it onto RL\’s debut album. This time, he edits RL\’s Core and turns it into a chaotic tune. We\’re excited to have him play on the second night, December 31st.
