It is not often that the opportunity comes along to catch up with an old friend, so when the opportunity presented itself as an invitation to attend a live broadcast studio session, I definitely took advantage. It has been awhile since I last had the opportunity to hang out with DJ Phiction, who I had met through a mutual friend when I was still a teenager, however his artist focus has remained consistent: Delivering body-moving house sets that incorporate everything from old classics to the newest releases.
The session was held at the Cage And Aquarium Productions Studios on the city\’s northwest side. DJ Phiction, who presents his take on Chicago House through regularly scheduled sets on V103, held down the set on two Pioneer vinyl turntables while broadcasting live to internet viewers at home.
