Deadmau5 has been particularly active on social media recently, and even if you\’ve been paying attention, you may have missed some new (previously unreleased) content. A fan caught Deadmau5\’s attention when he sent in a cut of a track that Deadmau5 himself had completely forgotten he\’d made.
The original audio reportedly came from a live stream dating back to 2013, back when Deadmau5\’s live chats were hosted for free on UStream. The fan apparently sifted through six hours of content to piece together parts of the track to create the end product. There\’s speculation that it\’s a tune from while(1<2) that did not make the album cut, but regardless there\’s no disputing that it\’s the signature Deadmau5 sound.
