EDC Generates Hundreds of Millions for Las Vegas

Insomniac Events has done it again and even bigger than before. According to Beacon Economics, LLC, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas generated an estimated $337.8 million for Clark County, Nevada while the festival took place from Jun 20-22. Since EDC started in 2011, it has made almost $1 billion for the local  economy. This year\’s EDC also attracted festival goers from all 50 states and 40 different countries to celebrate under the Electric Sky. Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac said,

\”I\’m so excited that a culture that started out years ago, with such humble beginning, has evolved into a festival capable of generating nearly $1 billion for Las Vegas and the surrounding areas. It\’s really moving when I think about it, and I\’m grateful that our fans love a city that I hold so close to my heart and now call home.\”
