Some of you might remember when we ran an article on the [Focus] Series at Primary as part of our Deeper Than a Drop series. (If you haven\’t had a chance to read it, it can be found here: Chicago DTAD 3: [FOCUS] Workshops.) Well Frankie Vega and the team at Primary are back to bring you another completely free workshop at Primary Night Club. If you have an interest in producing, no matter your skill level, this is a workshop you should not pass up.

As someone who has attended session 001 and 002, I can\’t express how great these free workshops are. When I attended my first one I was not even an Ableton user (I was using Logic) but was still able to pick up more than a few new tricks that I could bring home with me and put into use on day one. Come join the community, meet fellow producers, learn about producing, and share a few beers. Featuring three instructors, each with impressive resumes, this workshop will cover live looping, mixing and mastering, and take a look at NoisR for Live 9 (a Max for Live plugin) and end the workshop with an introduction to Electronic improvisation.
