World renowned audio research & development team Gardner & Rous aka Plump DJs skilfully push the envelope again with ‘U Belong 2 Us’.
The single is an uncompromisingly well built, dancefloor focussed bombshell of a single which has been honed to sonic perfection by Plump DJs whilst touring the world this year. It possesses uniquely contradicting sections which gel together resulting in an altogether fresh and forward thinking sound…not to mention bass drop. The latter does however beg the question “How big can a bass drop be before it becomes ugly?”
Well that question has been answered beautifully here by Plump DJs. A heavenly synth riff precedes a massive bass groove which is all delivered with a slickness that only the elite can pull off. In essence ‘U Belong 2 Us’ is a 4/4 thwomper with more juice than Del Monte and bigger guns than Jodie Marsh. This ripe offering shouts for a bright future for the duo which critics had already sighted after hearing recent single ‘Roll Dope Rhymes’ which like this presents a new beginning for Plumps.
