After Weekend 1 of Electric Forest, a picture of a severed finger began circulating the Internet. Speculations of where the finger came from ran wild, with someone even mentioning that it belonged to a vendor.
Nevertheless, Electric Forest organizers addressed the situation with an official statement.
Though the Forest always is and will forever remain weird, at least we know all attendees kept their fingers this year.
Michigan State Police have confirmed that the “finger” pictured in an image being circulated is just a “very real looking fake finger.”
