In just a couple of weeks, Burning Man will return to Black Rock City for seven days of art, self-expression and self-reliance. This means that the \”art cars\” are well on their way to the event and after decades of contributing to the festival with these installations, the ultimate car has arrived – a Boeing 747 jet.
Big Imagination Foundation, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization that focuses on bringing dreams to life through art, has been transforming the plane over the past two years.
The work of art represents our journey through life and will encourage visitors to think about what they want to create, where they want to go and what dreams will become reality. By day, \”global thought leaders\” will board the jet for inspiring talks and by night, special musical performances will take over. The 75-foot long aircraft will be pulled across the Playa by a 48,000 pound tug.
