Tomorrowland HQ announces 2017 theme…but what does it mean?

In an unrelenting week of line-up drops all over the U.S., the Tomorrowland HQ thought they’d wet our tongues a bit today. And you’ll never guess what the 2017 theme is. That is, because –if you’re like us — you don’t even know what it means.

So what does Amicorum Spectaculum mean anyway? For all you Latin speakers, and pre-med going students out there, you probably know that “Amicorum” is Latin root for “amicus,” meaning “friend.” And no English speaking native probably needs to be told what Spectaculum means, so take your best guess. The Tomorrowland brand is known for being an all-out spectacle in terms of production, line-up, and unmatched vibes.

Looks like a little steam punk, a little carnivalesque, and a message of love, acceptance, and friendship are going to make Tomorrowland another massive global success. Not to mention that fact that it will feature top EDM talent from all over the world. We’re excited to see how fast this year sells out…what, with the expansion into two weekends and all.

Check the announcement below. Tickets go on sale Jan. 21, Jan. 28, and Feb. 4 at 3 pm CET. Check tomorrowland.com for more details.
